Nikki and Peter’s Woodwinds Wedding was on a Tuesday. Why are we mentioning that? Well, typically weddings don’t happen on Tuesdays so during one of our two engagement shoots (engagement session 1 , engagement session 2), I asked if there was a reason for it. That’s when Nikki dropped a bit of 411 on us – in her culture, the number 8 is very lucky. How lucky? Well, a phone number with all 8’s sold for $280,000 in China back in 2003. So their Tuesday wedding was on Tuesday, July 8th.
Nikki is one bad*ss woman. Tattoos, spunk – she’s got that contagious personality that makes you want to be around her. Peter is hilarious and incredibly sweet, especially to Nikki. You can tell these two are madly in love with each other. Their wedding day was held at the beautiful property of Woodwinds in Brandford, CT. Lush greenery, a weeping willow tree, and a beautiful fountain – the perfect backdrop for their intimate day.
