Samantha and Waqas have been doing the long distance relationship thing for quite some time. We respect them for managing a relationship across different times zones while also working on their careers. You see, Samantha had no choice but to leave the man she plans on marrying to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. She went to school for education but in these tough economic times, she couldn’t find work after graduating. She signed up for a dual masters/work program where she goes to school at night and also teaches underprivileged children. She had to write down 5 cities she would be willing to work in. Clearly her first four were within driving distances to Waqas. Unfortunately it was mandatory to put a 5th selection down and unfortunately that’s what she got.
“We see each other as much as possible, but it’s tough.”
We know they’ll make it out the other side…and be so thankful for it.
