They met in one of their college classes. He would always make excuses to talk to her – a ‘forgotten’ pencil, unsure of the assignment…basically anything to get her attention. Over the course of the semester, they got to know each other and not long after, they started dating.
Alyssa and Pete have what many would describe as a ‘perfect love,’ and after spending time with them, it’s hard not to agree. Besides being physically beautiful (just watch their film or look below – there’s absolutely no denying it), their hearts, kindness, and personalities are what makes these two special.
This was the first wedding ever at the Peconic Bay Yacht Club – it was literally completed just DAYS before Alyssa and Pete’s wedding – and it was an honor to be there to capture it. From the gorgeous bay views, to the stunning tent reception and hard working staff, a Peconic Bay Yacht Club wedding will be one of the best decisions for your big day. The venue will easily be one of the best wedding venues on long island to get married. Mark our words!

Skylar & Daniel met at LeMoyne college while they were going up and down the same set of steps. They locked eyes and were hooked. It wasn’t until a service trip, however, that the two got to know each other and their love story began. Skylar and Daniel are two of the nicest, most caring individuals we’ve ever met. When we arrived on their wedding day, we were greeted with open arms.
Their day started with Skylar and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done at Cachet while Daniel and his groomsmen played a few games of pickup basketball at a local court. After getting dressed and having a first look with her dad, bridesmaids, and her adorable grandmother, she headed to the church where she walked down the aisle to her waiting groom (who was full of emotion and one of the best moments of the day!). After the ceremony they headed to Sage College for photos with the bridal party. Up until this point the weather cooperated but as luck would have it, it started raining shortly after we started the portrait session. Rather than running inside and waiting for the storm to pass, Skylar and Daniel were amazing sports and made the rain part of their day! We finished the session at their reception hall, Franklin Plaza, which they decorated tastefully with beautiful candles and centerpieces. Another highlight of the day came when the bridal party surprised Skylar and Daniel with a flash mob dance – such a cool moment! Their Franklin Plaza Wedding was nothing short of spectacular and we hope we did their day justice.

Sarah & Colin had one of those days that you dream about for your wedding: cool and comfortable, sunny, and that October fall foliage was just breathtaking. Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready for the day at her parents’ house in Crestwood while Colin got ready at the Tarrytown House Estate. Both made their way over to the Annunciation Church in Crestwood by trolley and when the doors opened and Colin saw his bride for the first time, it was a truly magical moment. After they were announced as husband and wife, we headed to the Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, NY where we took advantage of their gorgeous scenery. This fall wedding at Tarrytown House Estate was one Sarah and Colin will remember forever. Enjoy this sneak peak from their wedding at Tarrytown House Estate. Putting together a successful ‘flash mob’ dance takes skill, coordination, practice, and months of prep. Putting together a flash mob at a wedding that includes all of the bridal party, most of whom don’t live in the same state, is near impossible! Watch as they Skylar and Daniel’s bridal party pull it off and surprise them on their wedding day! It’s also important to note that the last part of the dance was choreographed when Skylar was younger – she and the rest of her sisters/cousins had been performing it for years! Dan knew it after seeing it so many times so he was able to perform it as well! Surprise flash mob wedding dance captured by Michael Justin Films.
There’s so many things we could write about that stand out from Denise and Ronnie’s Bahamas Wedding – from the custom made glass structure built on the sand, over looking the water where they had their reception, to the fire works display during their cake cutting, the lantern release at the end of the night, to the all-star team of vendors that helped put the event together…everything that was extraordinary. However with all the glitz and glam that went on, the most rewarding thing we captured was Denise & Ronnie’s love. Having met 10 years ago, they’ve managed to keep the spark alive in a way we rarely see. Hearing them talk about each other like it’s new love or seeing them sneak a kiss when they think no one is looking – it’s all genuine and it’s unique.
The wedding was held at the exclusive Albany Resorts in the Bahamas – a private villa resort on the water. Denise and Ronnie invited their closest friends and family that traveled from around the world to be there. David Tutera and his team of insanely talented planners helped put on an event like we’ve never seen.

Alex & Chris got married at Battery Gardens in battery park in Manhattan, a gorgeous venue with breathtaking views of the water and the Statue of Liberty. After a touching first look on the roof of their apartment, they exchanged gifts and emotionally read cards to one another. This was a moment we felt was so private, we had to exclude it from the film (the couple received it as one of their extra chapter items on their digital bluray). After family and bridal party photos around Manhattan, we traveled to the Battery Gardens area to shoot some additional portraits near the water. Their ceremony was an intimate event at an old church where Chris’ family priest gave a beautiful sermon. The remainder of the wedding night was at the Battery Gardens restaurant where they had one of the best cocktail hours we’ve ever seen!

John and Sarah have been a joy to work with. Phone calls, meetings, their engagement session, and especially their wedding – they have been happy, excited, and appreciative of everything. It was our first time shooting a wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel. With it’s picturesque views of the water and New England styled architecture, it was everything we could had hoped for (and more). John, Sarah, and their family and friends are more than just clients to me – they’re friends and we wish them nothing but the best for many years to come!
