Brandon’s a good friend of mine from Highschool and is one of those guys that regardless of how much time passes between seeing each other, you pick up where you left off as if only a few hours had passed. A few months ago I asked Brandon how things were going with his girlfriend Meg. He explained that things were great – beyond great, really – and that he was planning on taking the next step and proposing. Since Meg is one of my all-time favorite people, I was really happy for the both of them. I offered to capture the moment for him so they could have the memory documented. I met Brandon at his apartment at 5pm on Friday and together we headed down to Baker Street, the bar where they had their first date. Rather than travel by subway or cab, Brandon hired a limo for the next few hours…more on that in a bit.

Meanwhile, it was around 5:30pm when Meg arrived home from work and found these two notes waiting for her.

It didn’t take long for her to realize what was going on – she quickly sent Brandon this text.

So the plan was in motion. The limo was taking her from their apartment and dropping her off in front of Baker Street where Brandon was waiting.

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, Meg’s limo turned the corner. I’ll let the next few pictures speak for themselves.

An emotional wreck, here’s the first picture of them as officially engaged!

We headed inside for a celebratory toast – the same table they shared 3 years prior on their first date.
