Kacey & Scott - Coveleigh Country Club - NY Wedding Cinema

NY WEDDING CINEMA - KACEY & SCOTT - COVELEIGH COUNTRY CLUB

When my childhood friend Kacey told me about her engagement to Scott, I was hoping they'd ask me to film her wedding. Luckily enough, they did :)

Kacey and I have had a similar life path - growing up less than a mile from each other, going to school together, living in San Diego, moving back to NY, and marrying someone in the medical field. I also went to school with her older brother and my brother is the same age as her younger brother. To be there to see her marry her best friend and to have the privileged of putting together her wedding film, a film she'll watch for years and years to come, is something I'm very fortunate to have.

Her wedding day was one of those days you hope to have yourself. Beautiful fall weather, sunshine, friends and family, and your best friend. The day started at the Coveleigh Country club where Kacey and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day. A few doors down, Scott and his groomsmen hung out, drank some beers, and played pool. I love it when the bride and groom get ready at the same location - there's an energy in the air that you can feel.

After preparations we headed to St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville, NY where Kacey and Scott professed their love for each other and became husband and wife. It was a beautiful ceremony and I really enjoyed the priest's sermon. I especially loved his line "marriage is not a 50/50 proposition, it's a 100/100 proposition where you each give 100% to the other," it's exactly what a marriage should be.

We headed back to the Coveleigh Club for pictures - it's a beautiful venue right on the sound and has the perfect combination of greenery, sand, and water. We finished the night off with an awesome party in their ball room. We really loved the wedding and hope you enjoy their film.
